Our Primary Program serves children 3 years to 6 years old. During these years, children absorb information effortlessly. Our Primary Program capitalizes on this formative time in children’s lives by fostering their natural curiosity and giving them the confidence to explore their world. Working in our Montessori classroom with appropriately scaled, self-correcting materials designed to meet their developmental needs, children have an opportunity to engage in a variety of hands-on activities. Our certified Montessori teacher is their guide as they refine their senses, and build their math, reading and practical life skills. By its very nature, the Montessori curriculum is tailored to each individual child and builds on itself.

In the mixed age setting, over time children have the chance to experience learning both as the littlest learners, and later as leaders and models in the classroom. Children develop concentration, coordination, independence and social awareness. The joyful introduction to learning and engagement with the world around them that children receive at our school provides the foundation they need to thrive in their educational careers and beyond.
