Admissions Process
In line with Dr. Maria Montessori’s conclusions that mixed-age classrooms enrich children’s learning, our school offers two programs, an Early-Primary Program (18 months to 3+ years) and a Primary Program (3+ years to 6 years).
Admission is based on the family’s commitment to the Montessori method and the student’s readiness and fit with the classroom, as demonstrated through the admissions process. We are a non-profit, non-denominational school that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion or sex in administration of its educational policies, admissions, financial aid, athletic or other school-administered programs.
To apply, please schedule a tour and an observation. Then, fill out the application forms and submit a non-refundable deposit of $150 to Dothan Montessori School.
Tuition Schedule
For the 2022-2023 school year, the Early-Primary Program is available to everyone 5 days a week. We believe the success of the program is enhanced when children attend 5 days per week. However, if you prefer your child to attend fewer days, you may select which consecutive 3 or 4 days your child attends. The days will be fixed at the beginning of each semester.
